When you read a sales letter, does it bother you if it contains curse words? It seems today it is not unusual for the authors of some of the marketing materials to let loose with words that I consider to be offensive. They become known for their “edgy” vocabulary…so much so that you expect to hear it in the videos and audios they produce. What happen to cleaning up your delivery when you make a public speech? Is street language now the norm? I certainly hope not.

As a Christian, I can’t promote these edgy marketers to my list, even though their products are very good and commission levels are attractive. Am I being too sensitive? Am I shooting myself in the foot?
